Important Community Notice on Inter-Island Travel
Before you travel, we encourage you to please do the following:
- Visit TSIRC Website to register your visit or ring the Council Office to speak with the Elected Councillor to notify them of your travel plans and advice on local processes.
- Use the Check-In Qld app at either the wharf, helipad or airport to register your arrival in the community.
- Ring the Health Centre immediately if you are not feeling well, or if you require health related advice (isolation, testing etc).
Council encourages residents to please continue to follow Qld Health advice to please:
- Wear face masks and use QR Codes where required
- Sanitizing or wash your hands regularly
- Abide by social distance rules in designated areas in community
- Get vaccinated
- Follow Qld Health for regular updates
These actions will help minimise exposure and transmission in our community.
