Uncle Pabai Pabai and Uncle Paul Kabai have brought a legal case on behalf of all Torres Strait Islanders against the Australian Government.
The Federal Court has ordered that TSIRC be requested to display the attached community notices publicly for the community to see.
The notice explains how community members can "opt out" of this climate change class action.
If community members do not "opt out" by 26 May 2023 then they are automatically part of the case against the Australian Government.
