TSIRC advocates for social change so that our people have improved governance arrangements, better health and wellbeing outcomes, and economic development opportunities.
Our Council, led by our Mayor, regularly lobbies governments and presents deputations (submissions) to politicians, at the Local, State and Federal levels of government.
Our engagement with our communities informs our advocacy work. We use our media platforms to promote and question pressing issues for the region.
Our Advocacy work includes making resources available to support our elected Council when they speak up on behalf of their community.
